I agree with the previous comment of 2021-10-14: An Indian lady claimed to be from Virgin Media and offering to assist with security issues on my home Wi-Fi. With my laptop she took me to 'Event Viewer' to point out Errors and Warnings, then to Windows DOS 'netstat' to show external IP addresses to 'prove' I was being hacked. Then I was guided toward AweSun.com for a free download of 'Remote Desktop Software' with remote access and support. When I said I could not download any software on a company laptop she persisted with telling me to make space on my smartphone. She was very persistent to offer urgent support, then desperate when advising that my Wi-Fi connection would need to be terminated if not made secure, but when I asked for a number to call back she hung up.

I received a phone call from this number. An Indian lady pretended as if she phoned from Virgin Media, but she did not know my name or never verified my details (VIrgin Media usually asks security questions for verification of the account holder), so it is definitely a scam. I had received the same call few weeks earlier.
